Today’s is a short post. Why?
I mean they were fine when you were like just starting to go to school and you didn’t have many friends and family were like SUPER important but when you’re 19 and free and way more independent from your family (so I still live at home and eat all my meals and such here), it changes.
But they descended anyway.
1. You outgrow your cousins (or vice versa) very quickly. When the small ones bring out murderous feelings in you, you know you’re much too ‘big’ to play castles.
2. Cousins your age can lose touch very fast, especially if you don’t go to the same school and don’t live near. You know you were never meant to grow old and kick life in the ass together when he is completely clueless as to what you’re talking about. Or maybe that’s just you being psycho. Either way… Same diff.
3. If you a nicely planned day full of curled-up-bed-reading and sipping hot coffee in the gloomy rain, cousins can ruin your day.
They’re not all bad though. They did kinda give your ego a humongous boost by losing at every game you played right?
I guess Accomplishment? For surviving? Does that count?
