I finally submitted the college applications with deadlines in January.
What a relief. Of course there’s still some more stuff to do but now, I feel like a really heavy load has been lifted off my back.
In other news, I had my IELTS speaking test and I have to say it was a really weird experience.
The examiner kept asking me about ‘Elderly People’ and what I though about caring for them and respecting them and such.
I mean that was basically the entire conversation we had. About elderly people.
Not that I have anything against elderly people. In fact, I find them rather interesting.
1. Speaking Tests are weird. When you are asked to spew your personal opinion in front of a complete stranger, things get awkward. Especially if said examiner has the emotional expressions of a passive bull. With glasses.
