So my phone broke.
I mean it didn’t break as such but the screen certainly looks like I flung the phone into a brick wall a few million times.
There I was yesterday at my desk when I reached over for a book. Before I knew it the phone was sliding off the table and on to the hard tiled floor.
I wasn’t worried first because my phone has already suffered quite a few hard knocks without securing so much as a tiny crack or chip but when I lifted it off the floor this time and looked at the screen, there it was, a spider web of cracks starting from one corner and ending at the opposite end.
The phone’s not unusable of course. The insides seem to function normally and the touchscreen, microphone, camera and secondary camera all work. The only problem being that the picture is fractured and kind of a pain to touch since I might cut my finger on the cracks.
But I’m thankful I can still use the phone.
Hopefully, I can take the phone to the shop next week and do something towards getting the screen replaced. Hopefully. If not, I’m just going to have live with this and risk a finger cut every time I use my phone.
What a bother.
1. So even Nokia phones break. Damn you Urban Myths on Internet.
